Cultivating Your Creativity was created and run by me, Josh Francis. I am undergraduate student studying a BA combined honours degree in Law and Creative Writing. My degree choice alone shows that I am more than capable of being creative.
In my class I can bring you my many years of understanding the ways in which we are all creative. It doesn't matter if you write, draw or sculpt; I believe if you breathe you have creative thought.
I am passionate about enabling people to understand their own creativity. Then once they have a better understanding of this I help them find ways to express it through writing.
My degree has given me years of experience in supporting fellow writers. I regularly contribute to other writers work through work shopping and thought exploration.
I also run the University of Winchester Writers' Society, a group that meets every week to share thoughts and ideas about writing. We debate key issues in the industry and provide a forum for workshopping away from the lecture room.
I am my the student representative for both sides of my degree. My fellow peers can come to me for advice and opinions that I can feedback to our course leaders so that the modules may be improved. This has helped me gain experience in dealing with issues that students have with their studies and seek ways to support them.
Away from my degree I regularly write for my blog Geek Boy Babbles and for several webzines.
To keep up to date with me you can: email me, subscribe to this blog, my blog Geek Boy Babbles or follow me on several forms of social media.
