This is a workshop run by freelance writer Josh Francis. The course is designed for secondary education students who find it difficult to engage with Creative Writing tasks.
For many students the reason they disengage with writing is a lack of confidence. My course is tailored to introducing students with the concept of creativity, before showing them ways they are creative that they may not yet appreciate. Once students have an understanding of their dormant creative potential I bring them my experience, as a writer, to give them a way of expressing themselves.
Through on-hand support students will boost their confidence in their own writing and welcome creative writing as a form of expression open to all.
